OHS Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations to expand an existing program or establish a new initiative.
Please review the following criteria to ensure your nonprofit qualifies before applying for an OHS Grant.
- Must be a Christian nonprofit committed to serving those in need and proclaiming the gospel.
- Nonprofit must reside in and serve those in the greater Atlanta area within a 50-mile radius of the Georgia State Capitol.
- Nonprofit must have a 501(c)(3) IRS Tax Exempt Status for two years prior to the time of the application.
- Nonprofit may not be a church.
- Grant request must not exceed half of nonprofit’s current operating budget.
- Grant request for advertising, marketing, and salaries stipends must not exceed 20% in total of the grant request. Salaries are defined as support costs to conduct training or manage the proposed grant project.
- Grant request must not include ongoing operating expenses, rent, endowments, or capital campaign funding.
- Past Grant Recipients may not reapply for four years. For example, the earliest a 2022 Grant Recipient can reapply will be in 2026 for an opportunity to be awarded another OHS Atlanta Grant in 2027.
