Kidz2Leaders®, Inc.
Mission:
kidz2leaders®, inc exists to help change the lives of prisoners' children and to break the vicious cycle of incarceration. We help them rise above their circumstances, teach them to become leaders and provide a life of hope through Christian programming and a fun environment.
Purpose of Ministry:
Statistics state the 70% of prisoners’ children will one day themselves be incarcerated. We strive to break this cycle of incarceration and isolation through programs which reduce the impact of the physical, mental, sexual and spiritual abuses that occur in their lives.
How was the OHS grant used?
The grant was used to develop the interns4tomorrow® program which places our students in paid summer internships to learn what opportunities are available in the business world. Training is provided to develop resumes’, interview skills, job search skills, and business etiquette. Specific uses of the funds were for intern transportation, business clothing, a reference library, laptops, and programming.

Atlanta Youth Project
Mission:
Serving the youth of Atlanta by filling a year round need for spiritual, emotional, social, educational, and physical development.
Purpose of Ministry:
The purpose of Atlanta Youth Project is to empower underprivileged youth to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
How was the OHS grant used?
The OHS grant was used for improvements on God’s Farm, a 58 acre campground just outside the Atlanta city limits that serves 800-1000 underprivileged children per summer. OHS helped expand our menu through establishing a commercial kitchen, as well as bringing water and power to the “Penley Pavilion,” our events tent.
